Centre Manager

Experience (years) : Between 6-8 years experience

Qualification (must have / desired) :

Any field of Engineering preferably with IT/OT experience or Post Graduate.

Purpose of the Role :

  • Experience in Management/Training/Consultancy in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations.
  • Proven experience in leading a team and managing training programs, commercial activities, and industry collaborations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with industries, academia, and government organizations.
  • Ability to oversee the operational and financial performance of the centre.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) :

Operations & Administration :

  • Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the center.
  • Prepare reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential documents.
  • Manage office supplies stock and place orders as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and IT infrastructure maintenance.

Business Development & Industry Connect :

  • Build strong relationships with local industries to promote the center.
  • Drive collaborations with academia and research organizations.
  • Develop and execute strategies to attract commercial training programs.
  • Support the Placement team by facilitating connections with potential employers.
  • Organize industry visits, guest lectures, and networking events.

Financial & Budgetary Management :

  • Prepare and manage office budgets and track expenses.
  • Assist in revenue generation by engaging in funding opportunities and partnerships.
  • Ensure cost-effective resource utilization and optimal center profitability.

Training & Program Management :

  • Ensure timely completion of all training programs and courses.
  • Monitor trainer performance and student satisfaction.
  • Assist in curriculum development and innovation in training methodologies.
  • Support in organizing workshops, certifications, and skill enhancement programs.

  • Proficiency in Supply Management, Inventory Control, and Budgeting.
  • Strong organizational skills for Calendar and Database Management.
  • Experience in Billing, Record-Keeping, and Financial Planning.
  • Excellent Editing and Proofreading skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP tools.
  • Ability to interact with senior stakeholders and external clients professionally.

Skills :

Knowledge of Farming (agri), Mechanical B/g with IT Knowledge, MS Office, Proficiency in Excel, Power point comfort in documentation work, ERP
