Purpose of the Role :
The role is responsible for operating and managing the Centre of Excellence, ensuring high-quality technical training and maintaining industry standards.
Key responsibility areas (KRAs)
Primary Job Roles :
- Gather and analyse information about work procedures, workflow, and reports to identify training needs.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions on job-specific and company-specific software applications.
- Design and update training manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and instructional materials.
- Establish and enforce quality assessment standards through a point-based evaluation system.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, industry standards, and legal regulations for safe training environments.
- Stay updated with the latest technical advancements by attending industry workshops, technical training, and research events organized by Hexagon and other relevant institutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of training programs with organizational goals.
- Implement a structured evaluation system to track student progress and ensure successful completion of courses in various technology labs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to lab equipment and training modules.
Secondary Job Roles :
- Work closely with faculty teams to identify and address research challenges.
- Coordinate with the Academic Committee to facilitate workshops, training programs, and industry interactions.
- Partner with industrial organizations to arrange guest lectures and technical knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Research, test, and optimize lab-based systems and equipment for practical coursework.
- Assess and enhance the effectiveness of training programs for specific job applications.
- Support student-led initiatives, including competitions, major and minor academic projects, incubation projects, and prototype development.
- Assist in setting up new training modules, technical courses, and certification programs to meet industry demands.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students and trainees on real-world applications of technical concepts.
